Welcome to the Wizards Online Course

This is a brief guide on how your journey through this course will work.

You have full access to both courses — Foundations and Masters.
The lessons themselves are located within those course areas.

This page is your hub — a place to keep track of what to do after you’ve worked through the course content, along with important information, downloads, and your live training schedule.

Your Learning Journey

Each course can take anywhere from a solid weekend of focused study, to a few months of moving slowly, taking notes, and really integrating the work.

This is your journey — your pace, your way of learning.

The only requirement is that both courses are completed before your Live Training Days.

Live Training Sessions

Your live training consists of four 2-hour, one-to-one calls, where we move through every stage together. These are generally held on Wednesdays, yet some weekends are available. Please book in as soon as possible, it is advised to book the sessions in consecutive weeks for flow of work and learning.

A good setup is essential — you will need:
• A laptop
• A phone
• A tripod or stable setup for filming

For the Dreadlock Creation session, you will need a live model.

A Real Hair Mannequin, Synth Hair , Wool extension and simple tool kits are provided.

Call 1 – Q&A, course overview, sectioning, and combing (mannequin)
Call 2 – Stitching, creating dreadlocks, and working with wefts or mannequin
Call 3 – Half-head dreadlock creation on a live model
Call 4 – Extensions and maintenance techniques

Bonus Call

A short catch-up call with Ginnie to:
• Show off your work
• Get signed off
• Ask any final questions that have come up along the way

Recordings

All sessions are recorded, so you’ll always have video references to return to.

These will be emailed to you.

This becomes a powerful resource as you continue building your skills.

Certification

Once you have:
• Completed both online courses
• Attended all live calls
• Submitted your work via email

You will become a Certified BCD Dread Tec.

From there, you’ll receive:
• Access to our community monthly calls
• A place on our website BCD Collective page
• Features across our socials
